HH2000P Glass-Body Low-Conductivity Water pH Electrode

The HH2000P is a combination pH electrode designed for clean and relatively low-conductivity water, including tap water, surface water, swimming pools, circulating-water systems, secondary water supplies, and general-purpose purified water.

Its HL low-impedance pH glass membrane is intended to support responsive signal stabilization in lower-conductivity samples when connected to a compatible high-input-impedance pH transmitter. The electrode measures across the full pH 0–14 range and can be supplied with various integrated temperature-sensor options.

The long-path reference system uses low-viscosity PCG polymer-gel electrolyte and a ring-shaped PTFE junction. The broad junction area supports consistent contact between the reference electrolyte and process medium, while the extended reference path is designed to slow the movement of process contaminants toward the internal reference element.

A glass body, PG13.5 process connection, selectable insertion lengths, and multiple detachable connector options make the HH2000P suitable for integration into compatible pipelines, flow-through assemblies, immersion holders, and water-treatment equipment. Standard configurations support pressures up to 3 bar, while reinforced versions are available for applications requiring pressures up to 6 bar.

Compared with the general-purpose HH2000, the HH2000P is specifically configured with HL glass for water with conductivity from 20 to 300 μS/cm.

Measurement and installation notes

Low-conductivity water is particularly sensitive to changing flow, pressure, static charge, grounding, air exposure, and carbon-dioxide absorption. Maintain stable sample conditions and use a compatible high-input-impedance transmitter.

Install the electrode with the glass membrane facing downward or at a downward angle. Avoid excessive tightening, trapped air, negative pressure, excessive backpressure, and mechanical stress on the glass body.

The 6 bar reinforced option should be confirmed against the process temperature, holder, seals, and installation arrangement. It should not automatically be treated as a full-range pressure rating at 80 °C.
