- Ask a Question
The HH SCIENCE HH6000 is an innovative dissolved oxygen (DO) electrode built for long-term use in wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and natural water systems, offering true maintenance-free operation. Unlike traditional polarographic DO electrodes that require periodic replacement of electrolyte and membrane caps, the HH6000 uses an integrated solidified gel electrolyte, eliminating consumable maintenance tasks for 1 to 2 years.
The front end features a specially designed mesh membrane, which enhances gas permeability while resisting bubble interference and physical damage. The electrode is encased in a full 316L stainless steel body, providing superior mechanical strength and corrosion resistance in acidic or alkaline environments.
With an IP68 waterproof rating and PG13.5 threaded connection, the HH6000 installs easily into standard process ports or custom-built immersion assemblies. It is ideal for use in municipal and industrial water systems, fish farming, environmental monitoring, and OEM water treatment platforms.
Key Features
- Solidified Gel Electrolyte: Innovative membrane sleeve eliminates the need for traditional refilling or cap changes, ensuring up to two years of continuous, maintenance-free operation.
- Mesh Membrane Design: Provides stable oxygen diffusion while resisting air bubble impact and physical fouling, increasing reliability in aerated or stirred systems.
- Stainless Steel Housing (316L): Offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, even in chemically aggressive wastewater or brackish water.
- Acid/Alkali Resistance: Suitable for use in chemically diverse water bodies, including biological and industrial treatment basins.
- IP68 Waterproof Rating: Enables continuous submersion and deployment in open channels, tanks, or inline systems.
- PG13.5 Process Thread: Compatible with standard electrode holders, flow cells, and integration with control panels and treatment systems.
Optional Upgrades
- Custom Insertion Depths: Sensor length can be tailored for tank, open channel, or inline immersion requirements.
- Extended Cable Length: Up to 30 meters available for flexible installation in large-scale systems or remote monitoring points.
Typical Applications
- Domestic and Municipal Sewage Treatment Plants
- Industrial Wastewater Treatment Systems
- Aquaculture and Fish Farming
- Natural Water Monitoring (lakes, rivers, reservoirs)
- Water Treatment Equipment Integration (OEM/PLC/SCADA)
